JR coffee was established in March 2021 during the Covid-19 lockdown and is run by two good friends who share a passion for tasty coffee!

We offer delicious high quality coffee that we are proud to put our stamp on. We have worked extremely hard to find the right products to stand behind and present to you all.
We also offer innovative brewing technologies and information to new coffee drinkers and seasoned coffee drinkers, but saying that, we are still learning more and more each day ourselves.

The Start Of JR Coffee
After a year or so of conversation and playing with ideas, we finally took the plunge and JR Coffee was born!
Stalls
After growing our online presence and upgrading our stock range & knowledge, we expanded out to local stall events to meet people and showcase our products!
(JR Coffee candles were also produced around this time!)
Barista Bar / Van
With a barista course under our belts we pushed it along to not only be able to showcase our products but to also attend events and serve the delicious coffee we love!
Micro-Roaster
Now this is exciting!
Roasting coffee is certainly an art.. and very enjoyable. We are away with our little roaster producing small batch coffee!

Supporting Charities & The Local Community
At JR Coffee, we believe that supporting charities and the community around us is an important part of our role as a local business.
Our support has included sponsoring two young boxers/mixed martial arts athletes to help them progress on their journey (see photos below), and a new sponsorship of a local grass roots youth football club will be announced shortly.
In addition, we have supported local festivals for the last couple of years, raising approximately £10,000 at our last event through donations while we were there, and we also support Movember every year by donating a percentage of our sales through all our sales platforms.
How Did It Start?
Alex originally opened the door to ‘proper coffee’ to Josh in 2020, and the fascination and passion grew from that point. From there, the experimenting and conversation grew and grew until one night over a couple of beers we said... let's do this!
We have seen how coffee can be experimented with and there are endless possibilities of what can be done. We have a bucket load of ideas we plan to put in motion once we grow further, as we cannot see anyone else in the market exploring the areas we want to go.
JR Coffee is all things coffee, we are not a robotic company. Just two really good friends with a desire for tasty coffee.
Our logo is a wax stamp seal. The reason for this is because it is our 'seal of approval' that we stand behind, and in time our logo will signal to people that the product they are purchasing is of quality and high standards.
We have a lot of hopes and aims for the future of JR Coffee and we are excited to have you on this journey with us!
No Excuses!
There is no excuse for poor coffee, in today’s day and age everything is improving and adapting so you shouldn’t settle for less.
Coffee isn’t just a hot drink, it’s a moment, slowing down time to enjoy it and even catching up with our favourite things, whether that’s your favourite book or seeing an old friend.
Don’t let poor coffee put a sour taste on it.
We are passionate about quality coffee and the experience coffee can bring into people’s lives, bringing people together and re-connecting is important and the quality time that can be achieved just by simply asking a friend if they fancy a quick coffee.
With the way the world is going and people’s lives becoming busier and busier we lose track of time and friendships can go adrift. By bringing coffee back onto the table we believe we can slow down the clock and re-connect.
We want to pursue this passion and make the difference we want to make on this world with the decisions and actions we make.
